“I was working for a local haulage firm on weekends, cleaning the workshop and cleaning vehicles. I asked if there were any full time jobs or apprenticeships available. There was, and I started my IMI Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance apprenticeship. With support from various mentors within my employer and my college, I have progressed to where I am today. I have always enjoyed cars, and then being able to work on larger vehicles has inspired me even more.”
