I was looking for a hands-on apprenticeship and a career with a future, something that would keep me challenged and engaged, as I get bored easily. I’ve always been interested in cars and modifying them, which naturally led me to an apprenticeship in vehicle body repair. And it turns out, I absolutely love it!
Coming into the trade as a woman, I was a bit cautious at first. But the experience has been fantastic. I was welcomed into the industry by my colleagues, and they’ve supported me throughout my apprenticeship journey. Their encouragement has made a huge difference. Big thanks to my mentor!
