As a Fleet Data Analyst, you’ll work at the intersection of technology, transport, and sustainability, monitoring and interpreting data from vehicle fleets to optimise performance, reduce costs, and support strategic planning across public and private transport networks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting and analysing fleet data, including fuel usage, maintenance records, route efficiency, and emissions to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Developing dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights for fleet managers, technicians, and sustainability teams.
- Monitoring vehicle performance and predictive maintenance, using telematics and sensor data to anticipate faults and reduce downtime.
- Supporting the transition to low-emission fleets, by modelling the impact of electric and hybrid vehicles on operational efficiency and environmental targets.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and sustainability leads to inform data-driven decisions.
- Ensuring data integrity and compliance, with robust processes for data security, privacy, and regulatory reporting.
